If that were not enough ... let me add 1 more item. Copy your passport, visa, and tickets. Now! Punch 'em and pop 'em into your notebook.

This is not only theorectically good to have, but we had a traveler on year 1 loose his ticket in transit from Ekat (probably at the counter or at customs) and had to beg and pled with the airlines to take him back home.

If you have a copy, then you have the ticket number, flight date+number, etc... Goes a long way in getting back to Dallas TX.

Disclaimer: the "traveler" was thankfully not moi.
